2026 Hukilau Event

Ingredients:

Rum Blend (the tiki signature)

  • 1 oz Jamaican rum (funk + tropical depth)
  • 1 oz lightly aged rum (smooth structure)

Citrus & Juices

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1.5 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz orange juice

Color & Flavor Accents

  • 1/2 oz Blue Curaçao
  • 1/2 oz Midori
  • 1/4 oz vanilla–cinnamon syrup
  • 1/4 oz passionfruit syrup (for exotic brightness)

Aromatic Finish

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 drop saline solution (optional, but elevates everything)

 

Garnish:

  • Pineapple fronds
  • Cherry on a bamboo pick
  • Dehydrated lime wheel

Instructions:

Step 1 — Shake the core

Add to a shaker:

  • Both rums
  • Blue Curaçao
  • Midori
  • Lime juice
  • Vanilla‑cinnamon syrup
  • Passionfruit syrup
  • A handful of crushed ice

Shake until frosty.

Step 2 — Perform the Lagoon Swirl

  • Pour half the shaker into a tall tiki mug
  • Add a scoop of crushed ice
  • Slowly pour the remaining half over the ice to create the signature swirl

Step 3 — Crown it

Top with:

  • Pineapple juice
  • Orange juice

Add bitters on top for aroma and color contrast.

Step 4 — Garnish like a showman

Fronds, cherry, lime wheel,  — the whole ETI spectacle.
