Kioki Unleashed Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz Orgeat
- 1 oz Apricot Liqueur/Brandy
- 1 oz Grapefruit Juice
- 2 oz Navy Rum (Hamilton 114)
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- 6 oz Crushed ice
Garnish:
- Lime wedge
Instructions:
Flash blend all ingredients for 5 seconds. Pour into a DOF glass and top off with more crushed ice to fill if needed. Drink up! Let Kioki unleash his might upon you. He is to be respected or you will incur his wrath.

Long ago, deep within the volcanic heart of the South Pacific, there lived a mighty guardian spirit named Kioki. He was carved from obsidian and crowned with a wreath of lime leaves, protector of the sacred grove where citrus and stonefruit trees flourished under moonlight. Kioki was known for his booming laugh, his fiery temper, and his unmatched skill in blending flavors that could tame the wildest seas - or summon them.
One stormy solstice, a wandering mixologist named Tikimon washed ashore, clutching a satchel of rare ingredients: apricot brandy from the old world, orgeat from the almond groves of the East, and a bottle of Hamilton 114 Navy Rum said to be blessed by the wind gods. Tikimon sought refuge in Kioki’s grove, offering a drink in exchange for safe passage.
Kioki accepted - but with a challenge. “Blend the soul of the tropics with the fire of the ocean,” he thundered. “If your drink pleases me, you shall live. If not… you shall become garnish.”
Tikimon worked through the night, flash blending lime, grapefruit, apricot, and rum with crushed ice and a dash of bitters. As dawn broke, he poured the concoction into a carved glass and offered it with reverence. Kioki sipped, paused, and let out a roar of approval that split the clouds and calmed the sea.
