From July 26 to August 3, 2025, the golden sands of Huntington Beach, California – affectionately known as Surf City USA – will once again host the world’s largest surf competition, the Lexus US Open of Surfing presented by Pacifico. This iconic event is more than just a surf contest – it’s a full-blown celebration of beach culture, action sports, and community spirit.
A Legacy of Surfing Excellence

Originally known as the United States Surfing Championships, and later the OP Pro, the event has consistently drawn the world’s top surfers to Huntington Beach’s famously consistent waves. Since 1994, it has carried the US Open name, becoming a cornerstone of the international surf calendar.
