The Jungle Echo Cooler Mocktail (inspired by Martin Denny)

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz coconut water (chilled)

  • 2 oz pineapple juice

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 oz lychee syrup (from canned lychees or bottled)

  • 2 oz butterfly pea flower tea (deep blue, chilled)

  • 2–3 thin slices fresh ginger

  • 4–5 mint leaves

  • 2 oz club soda (for the final “shimmer”)

  • Optional: aromatic mist (vanilla or toasted coconut extract diluted with water)

Garnish:

  • A mint sprig (jungle foliage)

  • A lychee on a bamboo pick (moon over the lagoon)

  • Optional: a tiny orchid or pineapple frond

🥥 HOW TO BUILD IT (like a Denny arrangement)

1. The Vibraphone Intro

Muddle ginger + mint gently in the bottom of a shaker. Add coconut water, pineapple, lime, and lychee syrup. Shake lightly – not aggressively – to keep it soft and airy.

2. The Jungle Rhythm Layer

Strain into a tall glass filled with pebble ice. This creates the “lush jungle bed” of the drink.

3. The Twilight Lagoon Effect

Slowly pour the butterfly pea tea over the top. It will sit as a deep blue layer, like dusk settling over the island.

4. The Hypnotic Echo

Top with club soda for a sparkling, shimmering finish. Mist the top with vanilla or toasted coconut water for the aromatic “echo.”

🌺 The Legend of the Jungle Echo Cooler

When ETI RADIO announced its first Martin Denny Monday Premium Broadcast (2026), Tiki Brian wanted something more than a playlist – he wanted a ritual. A drink that listeners could raise as the vibraphones shimmered and the jungle birds called through the speakers.

In the weeks leading up to May 18th, 2026, the studio became a creative laboratory. Coconut water, pineapple, and lychee were tested under the glow of tiki torches while “Quiet Village” played softly in the background. Then came the breakthrough – a swirl of butterfly pea tea that turned the drink lagoon-blue, echoing the twilight tones of Denny’s album covers.

The result was The Jungle Echo Cooler, a mocktail that captures the sound of exotica in liquid form. Each sip mirrors the rhythm of Martin Denny’s music – smooth, hypnotic, and layered with tropical mystery.

As the countdown continues toward May 18th, 2026, excitement is building across the Tiki Broadcasting Company. The very first Martin Denny Monday Premium Broadcast is almost here — and The Jungle Echo Cooler will be the official drink of the night. Mix one up, dim the lights, and get ready to step into a world of vibraphones, jungle calls, and moonlit exotica. Tune in on May 18th and experience the debut broadcast in true Martin Denny style.

You can listen to many of Martin Denny’s music from Tiki Brian’s Vinyl Record Collection.
