Summary:
This episode of the Exotic Tiki Island Podcast opens with an unexpected crisis: the Virgin Volcano has erupted, terrifying the island’s headhunters, who believe their fire goddess demands a human sacrifice. Captain Scotty B radios Tiki Brian with urgent warnings before the transmission abruptly cuts out, leaving his fate unknown. With no traditional transportation available, Brian rallies the listeners and decides to surf across the South Seas to reach the island. Upon arrival, they discover that the headhunters have captured Scotty B and taken him to their village at the base of the volcano, intending to sacrifice him to stop the eruption. Determined to save their friend, Brian devises a daring plan involving fireworks, stealth, and a ceremonial tiki mask.
The rescue unfolds in dramatic fashion as the group sneaks into the village, tossing fireworks into the central fire pit to create a supernatural display. Disguised as a tiki god, Brian confronts the headhunters and convinces them to release Scotty B, promising to calm the volcano with Exotica music. The ruse works, the volcano settles, and peace returns to the island. Everyone retreats to the Bamboo Bar to celebrate their victory with tiki drinks and a well‑earned toast. As night falls, the group returns to the main beach, where a sailboat awaits to take them home. The episode closes with warm aloha and gratitude for the listeners who “helped” save the island.
