Cape Coral’s first and only tiki bar brings tropical vibes to Southwest Florida with lush décor and a laid-back atmosphere. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit for the ambiance alone. The grounds are vibrant and tiki-themed, and some of the cocktails - like the Fighter Pilot and the Zombie - are genuinely solid.
Now, about their Mai Tai… scandal alert! Their house version swaps traditional orgeat for a mix of almond milk and sugar, which completely misses the mark. To make matters worse, they blend dry curaçao with triple sec, resulting in a drink that, in our opinion (mine and Tikimon’s), just doesn’t land.
On the upside, they serve tasty small plates and offer a happy hour Tuesday through Sunday from 2–7pm. Just note: the only tiki drink on special during that window is the Jungle Bird itself.
Overall, it’s a fun spot with a unique vibe - especially considering it’s the lone tiki outpost in Southwest Florida.
