ℹ️ Additional Info:
Tucked away in the East Village, Paradise Lost is a tropical fever dream with a devilish twist. This hidden tiki bar channels speakeasy energy - you’ll need to press a buzzer to gain entry. Once granted access, you’re led down a lush, plant-lined alleyway that opens into a portal of Polynesian kitsch meets infernal fantasy.
Inside, the vibe is pure tiki with a dark edge: think demons, Lilith lore, and swampy creatures lurking in the decor. The cocktail menu leans into the theme with hellish concoctions alongside classic tiki staples. I went for the Zombie - potent enough to earn a “one and done” badge. My friend sipped on a Saturn and a Piña Colada, both hits.
The food? Surprisingly crave-worthy. We devoured the wings, a cheeky “Krab Rangoon” dip, and crispy rum spudlets (aka tater tots) - all highly recommended. Tiki mugs by Bigtoe are available for under $50, adding a collectible touch to the experience.
Musically, Paradise
